Menopause is a natural phase of life, but its symptoms—like hot flashes, mood swings, and sleep disturbances—can be challenging. While there are a variety of treatments available, many women prefer to manage these symptoms through natural methods. In this article today, on “National Menopause Day,” I’m sharing five simple, effective ways to reduce menopause symptoms naturally, helping you feel more balanced and empowered during this transition.

5 Ways To Reduce Annoying Menopause Symptoms Naturally:

  • Try A Supplement - There are a variety of symptom specific supplements that can address many annoying menopause symptoms naturally, from lack of energy, lack of sleep, muscle loss, nutritional deficiencies and more. You can check out my “MidVita Medicinals” supplement line, created and curated to specifically meet the needs of midlife and menopausal women, by clicking the link here.

  • Eat Well - A healthy, whole food diet is key to balancing your hormones. It doesn’t have to be complicated…Fill three quarters of your plate with a variety of fresh vegetables, then add a high-quality source of protein, like poultry, eggs or wild fish, and top it off with a serving of good fat like avocado, nuts and seeds and their oils or coconut oil. If weight management or weight loss is your goal, you can check out one of my favorite easy to follow plans to jumpstart your healthy eating and weight loss, by clicking the link here. You can also check out my “FREE Guide,” “How To Create The Perfect Plate To Lose Weight Or Maintain Your Weight With Healthy Balanced Meals,” by clicking the link here.

  • Move More - Did you know that regular exercise can help ease symptoms of menopause by enhancing certain key hormones? The key is to just get moving. You can check out and learn more about the “Your Midlife Maven Fitness & Nutrition App” relaunching very soon, by clicking the link here.

  • Stress Less - Stress wreaks havoc on our hormones, especially adrenals which are kicked into high gear during menopause. When it comes down to it, healthy adrenal glands are the key to a healthy and effortless menopause. Try practicing stress management techniques like journaling, yoga, deep breathing or meditation daily. You can check out my midlife wellness journals, that I personally use, by clicking the link here. You can also check out my “Aura Aromatherapy Candle Collection,” with seven amazing candle scents that are perfect for reducing stress, by clicking the link here, and my “FREE 5-Minute Guided Meditation,” by clicking the link here.

  • Engage In Self-Care - Self-care is so important to helping you stay calm and balanced, and to helping you get and keep a calm nervous system. Being relaxed and calm, and having a healthy nervous system is the foundation of healthy hormones. Set a regular weekly self-care regimen, and when needed and possible, take time to get away for a quick weekend trip or longer. Doing this will benefit your midlife and menopausal health; mind, body and soul.
